Review section 5.1 (starting on page 198) on Relational and Logical Operators, from your
reading assignment.
Follow the example procedures 1 to 4 (pages 198 to 200).
Do several of the exercises on pages 201 and 202, and record the ones you did in your
Weekly Log Sheet.
Move on to review section 5.2 (starting on page 203) on If
Blocks, which you have already read.
Follow the example procedures 1 to 6 (pages 203 to 209).
Do some of the practice exercises on pages 215 to 217, numbers 21 to 42, and
record the ones you did in your Weekly Log Sheet.
Move on to section 5.3 (starting on page 219) on Select Case
Blocks, the final section of last week's reading assignment.
Follow the example procedures 1 to 7 (pages 220 to 226).
Do some of the practice exercises on pages 228 to 232, numbers 1 to 25, and record
the ones you did in your Weekly Log Sheet.
Evaluation Tasks:
Demonstrate your solution to one of problems 27 to 37 (pages 232 to 235) to your
instructor, illustrating the correct use of decision techniques in your programming.
Be sure to demonstrate the use of both If and Select-Case
statements in your coding.
Before you leave the Lab today, hand in to your instructor a Weekly
Log Sheet with the following information:
Your name, printed legibly.
Your student number, also printed to be readable.
Today's Lab number and today's date.
The list of practice exercises and problems you tried while working on this section of
the textbook (from the list of practice exercises and problems assigned above).
