Message from Raymonde Hanson, Vice President, Academic and Adam Gal, President, Students’ Association:
To all Deans, Chairs, Program Coordinators, and Faculty:
This year, the Students’ Association is spearheading an initiative to enhance the Class Representative system. The intent is to have a Class Representative for every group in every level of every program to ensure that all students are properly represented at Program Councils and Student Forums.
Deadline for Class Representative
Elections: Friday, September 10, 2004
Please review the attached Job Description with the students prior to the
election of the Class Representative so that they are aware of the
responsibilities.
Only ONE elected Class Representative per group is to be identified on the form. An alternate can be elected but their contact information is not required and they do not need to attend the Forums if the elected Rep is going to be in attendance.
Deadline for submission of Class
Representative Forms: As soon as possible!
Completed forms can be dropped off at the SA Office or sent electronically to
Susan Law (see form for email addresses).
Should there be vacancies, Susan Law, Coordinator of Marketing and Communications, Students’ Association, will be following up with the Program Contacts (Dean, Chair, Coordinator or Faculty member). As well, Susan will be following up with Class Reps about Program Council meetings and will be keeping track of trends happening throughout the college programs.
Thank you for your continued support of the Class Rep system.
